As is often the case at Gucci shows, the models were adorned with customised beauty looks before taking to the runway – save for the clear-glossed lips that featured on everyone’s pout. And although many of the looks were different, there was one particular recurring motif that we just couldn’t look away from: false strip lashes… which were applied to brows! Meanwhile, the hair had a “relaxed, grunge, hippie” vibe, says Australian hairstylist John Pulitano who worked on the look, crediting Tigi After Party Smoothing Cream for “that slightly greasy grunge texture”. This look is quirky, unexpected, and so very Gucci.
